Nyungwe National Park

Nyungwe is an ancient, mist-wrapped montane rainforest in southwestern Rwanda renowned for its extraordinary biodiversity. Visitors can track chimpanzees and large troops of colobus monkeys, spot some 300 bird species, and cross the famous canopy walkway suspended high above the forest floor. Its dense greenery also feeds streams that contribute to the most distant source of the Nile.
