Tsavo East National Park in pictures.
Tsavo East is among Kenya's oldest and biggest parks, a sweeping expanse of semi-arid bush, open savanna and the meandering Galana River. It is best known for its iconic herds of elephants, often stained a distinctive rust-red from dust-bathing in the park's ochre soil. The remote, rugged scenery offers a wilder and quieter safari than Kenya's busier reserves.
