Fish River Canyon

In Namibia's arid south, the Fish River has carved one of the largest canyons in the world, plunging up to 550 metres over a course some 160 kilometres long. Viewpoints along the rim reveal a dramatic landscape of rock terraces and looping river bends. The multi-day hike along its floor is one of southern Africa's most coveted wilderness trails.
